Originally from the Borders of Scotland, Fiona moved to Northern Ireland following her studies in Three-Dimensional Design. She took up an apprenticeship position with a leading jewellery manufacturer and worked for many years learning different skills and techniques. Over the last few years she has developed her own work into a full time business.
Her main themes are light, colour and movement. Her designs are also influenced by the combination of nature and geometry. She is fascinated by how natural things, which at first may appear to be chaotic, are organised and full of structure. She uses a combination of precious metals, with different textures and precious stones to bring light and colour to her work. Her aim is to make jewellery that’s both beautiful to look at and fun to wear.
